The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) is a federal program that provides food assistance to those with low incomes.

Commodity Supplemental Food Program

The Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) provides free monthly food packages to low-income adults aged 60 years and older. The package includes nutritious food that is worth about $70. This food is a supplement to a person’s diet.

To be eligible, you must be aged 60 and older with a household income equal to or less than those listed below. This table is effective as of February 7, 2024, and is based on 130% of the U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services 2024 Poverty Guidelines. When reviewing your eligibility, use total gross income (before taxes and deductions) of all household members.

Distribution Day

  • 1. Arrive at the pantry and follow the parking lot cones to the Check-In Window
  • 2. Walk up to the Check-In Window
  • a. Interact kindly and respectfully with our Window Team
  • b. Provide your name & address
  • c. Attest that you meet the required income guidelines
  • d. Provide information about family members
  • e. Your data will be stored in our secure database
  • 3. Take the provided Post-It-Note, drive forward until stopped, and provide the Note to our Loading Team
  • 4. Your vehicle will be loaded in the trunk for you. If the trunk is not available, you will be asked to load it yourself
  • 5. Once loaded, you can drive forward to our Emporium Area that contains "this week's" pantry excess items
