Donations to the Food Pantry

Community gifts to support purchase of food and pantry operations are one of our primary sources of income. The Waushara County Food Pantry, Inc. is a 501c(3) non-profit corporation; qualifying donations are tax-deductible.

Fund-raise

Organize a fundraising campaign to celebrate a special event, create a memorial or bring the community together.

Stocks/Bonds/Securities

Appreciated Marketable Securities are a great way to maximize your giving because you receive an immediate income tax deduction for the full fair market value of your securities. In addition, you pay no capital gains tax on the difference between your cost and the fair market value. Consult your financial advisor for details, then contact us for more information.

IRA Charitable Rollover Gift

Opportunities are available to give directly from your IRA to the pantry without being subject to income tax on the distribution. Consult your financial advisor for details.

SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Please contact the pantry directly for directions to secure a sponsorship.

  • BED SPONSOR $500
    Sponsors the maintenance of one garden bed for one year. Receive an engraved plaque in the garden area for the duration of the year.
  • SUSTAINABLE PATHWAYS SPONSOR $1,000
    Supports Waushara County Food Pantry's general operating fund. Receive one 12x12 custom engraved paver in the pantry garden area.
  • LEGACY SPONSOR $5,000
    Supports the Waushara County Food Pantry Endowment Fund with The Community Foundation of Central Wisconsin. Receive one park bench on pantry grounds with a custom engraved plaque.

Organizational Endowment Fund

The Organizational Endowment is established as a tool to provide operational support for the future. Once the endowment reaches a principal balance of $10K earnings above that balance can be used for operational support of the pantry. It's a long-term sustainability strategy. Gifts for longevity are made directly to the Community Foundation of Central Wisconsin where our Organizational Endowment Fund is located.
